"Ace" Little has been at QX FM for six years. He is the
Voice of the Weatherford Kangaroos and Parker County teams in all
sports. Ace was named Texas High School Broadcaster of the
Year in the Sept. 2006 issue of Texas Monthly. He has done
most all sports on radio, including volleyball and pro wrestling
for more than 25 years. He has called more than 800 games on radio
and is celebrating his 25th year in radio sports annoucing. His
first game was Sept. 1, 1982. He also anchors sports at noon, 1
p.m., 5 and 6 p.m. He is a graduate of Skyline High School in Dallas
and has a B. S. from East Texas State State Univ. He was awarded
Eagle Scout in 1979. Ace has missed one home football game for ETSU
since 1982. He has worked at KRLD, WBAP, KSTV, the USA Radio Network
and KCLE. He was the voice of Cleburne for 10 years and did the
state semi final and finals game for the CHS Lady Jackets when they
won state in 1995 in basketball. Ace has called playoffs games in
all sports 23 out of 25 years he has been doing games. He is very
intense when it comes to calling games because, as he says, "I
do it for the kids and the fans of the city." .
He has been married 18 years to TCU Alum Kay, who is a nurse at
John Peter Smith Hospital and they have two children: Katie, 10,and
Sam, 5. They live in Crowley and go to Genesis United Methodist
Church. Ask him why he does not eat on Game Day and Ace is a huge
UT and ETSU fan and loves high and college sports. If you have a
